Turtle Creek Bridge #6
Allegheny County, PA
Allegheny County Department of Public Works

Keystone is currently assisting the Allegheny County, Department of Public Works with a project involving the replacement of the Greensburg Pike Bridge along Greensburg Pike in Turtle Creek Borough and North Versailles Township. The project involves the complete replacement of the existing bridge, which is in a generally poor state of repair. The 845 foot bridge was built in 1925 and rehabilitated in 1978. There are fourteen parcels from which right of way and easements are required. It is anticipated that all properties should be acquired by early 2010, which will enable the beginning of the bridge replacement in late spring 2010, with a construction time of approximately two years.
