Baker Engineering has employed our services to provide assistance to PENNDOT District 10-0 in Pine Township, Armstrong County. The project became necessary when existing SR 1003 experienced a landslide, which is a potential hazard to traffic through the area. The project will result in the displacement of one family and the partial acquisition of an additional twelve parcels. Baker is currently in the final design phase and we anticipate our finalization of services in June or July of 2007.

The photo below shows one of the problematic areas on the relocated SR 1003. The curve is being straightened to promote safety of travel and to allow for support for the landslide area.
