Keystone’s staff provided assistance to PENNDOT District 10-0 with a widening project along State Route 22 in Indiana County. The project has progressed to the construction stage and it is anticipated that completion will be late in 2006. The area is a mixed-use corridor that contains residential, commercial and industrial properties. The project involved the partial acquisition of approximately 30 parcels, which included two residential relocation claims and the displacement of a Communications Tower.

All right-of-way has been cleared and State Route 0022, Section 491's construction is underway. It is anticipated that the corridor will be open to travel late in 2006.
