This project was undertaken to replace two bridges over the Allegheny River and an operating railroad in McKean County. The project impacted 24 parcels. In completing this, we were able to settle 18 of them amicably or administratively. The only condemnations required for this project were attributed to four parcels, in which case the owner was in bankruptcy and two parcels, whose ownership was unknown. Our staff members were able to assist the District Staff with acquiring all parcels expeditiously and were able to accomplish very ambitious clearance goals established by the Department.

Services being provided under this contract include all aspects of right-of-way acquisition but are not limited to: title and settlement services; negotiation; closing services; property management; and project management.
