This undertaking is to acquire properties and aerial easements to accommodate
the rehabilitation of an 84 year old bridge, which has succumbed to the
elements and it’s age. There are 13 parcels from which right-of-way
and easements are required in order to properly maintain and update the
150’ high span, which connects Bellevue to the City of Pittsburgh
along California/Lincoln Avenue. All properties should be acquired in the
early months of 2009, which will allow the rehabilitation to begin some
time in the same year.
