Bridge Replacements

We completed several minor bridge replacement projects for the Allegheny County Department of Public Works. Keystone was asked to serve as a sub-consultant to three engineering firms in order to clear properties for these projects. There were seven projects for which we are acquiring properties and necessary easements to replace each bridge. We provided all services necessary to have these properties appraised, negotiated and settled or condemned. The majority of the bridge replacements are near completion. There were approximately 23 affected parcels associated with these projects. Only five parcels required that Declarations of Takings be filed and the properties acquired through condemnation.
