PA Turnpike / I95 Interchange Project

The Pennsylvania Turnpike/Interstate 95 Interchange Project will directly connect these two highways. This project will reduce congestion on local Bucks County roadways as well as improve the flow of traffic in the Philadelphia region and along the entire east coast.

Project Stage 1 includes building a high-speed interchange that directly connects the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Interstate 95 in Bucks County, a new mainline toll plaza, and mainline widening; while Project Stage 2 brings an additional bridge over the Delaware River parallel to the existing bridge. Project Stage 1 construction is anticipated to begin in late 2006 or early 2007.

Keystone has been awarded the acquisition contract to acquire all of the total take properties necessary for the construction of the interchange, as well as certain partial take properties associated with the reconstruction of local bridges.
